Library Materials & Locations

Books housed in Galter Library are organized first by location, then by call number.

Request Hold for Pickup

To hold an item at the circulation desk for pickup:

  1. Sign in to your account with your NetID
  2. Locate the item you would like to request
  3. Under "Get It", click "Request"
  4. Choose pickup location from the dropdown menu

You'll receive an email when your item is ready for pickup.

Can't find what you need? Feinberg faculty, students and staff can obtain scans of articles and book chapters from our collections and from other libraries' collections via our Interlibrary Loan (ILL) service.

Dollie's Corner collection (biographies, fiction and non-fiction books featuring medical themes for a general audience) Level 2, Dollie's Corner
Most books published before 2010, theses, dissertations, bound journals Oak Grove Library Center (off-site storage); request through the catalog
Rare books, archives and artifacts Level 2, Special Collections Reading room (2-411); available by appointment only
Current journals Online, check our catalog
Non-print materials Level 1, Eckenhoff Reading Room or Circulation Desk
Anatomical models in the Mezzanine area or the Circulation Desk 
Historical abstracts, directories and indexes Lower Level Closed Stacks; inquire at Circulation Desk
