Books housed in Galter Library are organized first by location, then by call number.
Request Hold for Pickup
To hold an item at the circulation desk for pickup:
- Sign in to your account with your NetID
- Locate the item you would like to request
- Under "Get It", click "Request"
- Choose pickup location from the dropdown menu
You'll receive an email when your item is ready for pickup.

Can't find what you need? Feinberg faculty, students and staff can obtain scans of articles and book chapters from our collections and from other libraries' collections via our Interlibrary Loan (ILL) service.

NLM/LOC Call Numbers
Galter Library uses both National Library of Medicine (NLM) and Library of Congress (LOC) classification systems to organize print materials.
