Classrooms and Study Spaces

The Galter Health Sciences Library & Learning Center offers a variety of spaces for group and individual academic use, including:

  • One of the conference spaces available for reservationGroup Study Rooms : Eleven small conference rooms suitable for two to 10 people, equipped with whiteboards, monitors, large tables, chairs and Solstice wireless display technology for easy screen sharing. Curriculum-related events receive scheduling priority.

  • Computer Classroom: Located on the second floor, this classroom is available to Feinberg faculty and staff for instructional use. Instructors must remain present during scheduled sessions. Library staff do not provide teaching support. The room includes computers, Solstice wireless display technology and two screens for group content display. A variety of software programs are available. Please specify your needs when reserving.

Policies

  • Library conference rooms are intended for curricular events and for small group collaboration.
  • Rooms may be reserved up to three hours at a time to allow equitable access.
  • Group use takes precedence over individual use.
  • Unreserved conference rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Staff may ask individuals to relocate if a group needs collaboration space. 
  • Only Feinberg affiliates can reserve rooms and equipment.
  • Reservations are forfeited if a group fails to arrive or leaves the room unattended for more than 15 minutes.
