Clinical Support
Clinical Librarian Service
Our clinical librarians support clinicians, faculty, fellows, residents and students by providing timely access to evidence-based research that informs decision-making and enhances patient care. We conduct targeted literature searches to help answer clinical questions as they arise.
Do you have a question related to patient care or clinical decision-making? We’re happy to perform a thorough review of the literature to help you find evidence-based solutions.

How We Can Help
Our clinical librarians welcome inquiries related to therapy, diagnosis, prognosis, etiology, clinical guidelines, and other aspects of patient care. Here are examples of questions clinical librarians have helped answer:
- In patients with E-cigarette- or vaping-use-associated lung injury (EVALI), what are the radiographic findings and clinical presentation?
- How should hemodialysis be managed for pregnant patients with ESRD and severe hypertension?
- How often do we see multiple myeloma without a protein gap in the peripheral blood?
- What is the incidence and usual onset time of beta-lactam neurotoxicity?
